Objectives
The ECREA mailing list is a free (academic) information service to the academic community. As a free service, organised on a voluntary basis, ECREA members and non-members alike are welcomed to subscribe to this information resource (or not). Its exclusive objective is to disseminate academic information on communication and media studies related conferences, vacancies, and publications.
Posting on the list
Information can be posted on the ECREA mailing list by either sending it to the list manager, or by posting it on the list itself. In both cases some delays may occur, as postings have to be approved by the list manager (in order to check whether they are in line with the objectives of the mailing list).
Please do keep in mind that messages with html-formatting and with attachments cannot be posted. Always make sure that the message sent is a plain text version.
In order to avoid too much traffic on the mailing list, only two messages on the same event should be posted.
Subscribing and unsubscribing
You can subscribe to the ECREA mailing list by writing your email address in the box and click "Subscribe". If you later want to unsubscribe, you must reenter your email address and click "Unsubscribe".
Because of persistent problems with yahoo.com, subscription with a yahoo.com email address is no longer allowed.
Being subscribed to the ECREA mailing list does not automatically result in an ECREA membership.
In case you encounter problems, please contact ECREA's mailing list moderator Nico Carpentier at Nico.Carpentier@vub.ac.be.
