ECREA breaks the 1000 member limit

ECREA now has 1016 members. 369 of them are individual members, and the remaining 647 are members through the 80 institutional and associate institutional members.

This growth in membership demonstrates a flight of enthusiasm for ECREA, its activities and its projects. At the end of 2007, the association's membership already exceeded 900 people, which was an increase of over 100% in comparison to 2006.
The sharp increase of the past weeks is also related to the upcoming Barcelona conference and ECREA Board’s decision (on January 15, 2008) to grant free membership to the PhD students of ECREA’s institutional members.
