The reactions to the call for proposals of the ECREA Barcelona conference have been overwhelming, guaranteeing a successful conference.

The call closed on March 3, 2008.

ECREA

The organisers received 1438 proposals. 1342 were individual paper proposals, 42 individual poster proposals, and 54 panel proposals (which contained an estimated 300 people).
Moreover, the regional diversity is very high, as the applicants originated from 57 different countries.
At this point in time, the reviewing process, organised by the 15 ECREA sections, has started. The local organisers will inform all participants on April 30, 2008 about the acceptance and/or rejection of their proposals.
