Programme of 2010 Doctoral Summer School published

The programme of the 2010 ECREA European Media and Communication Doctoral Summer School is now available at the summer school website.

This year, 51 students and 26 lecturers from 31 European universities will attend the Summer School hosted by University of Ljubljana. The thirteen day programme is focused on providing students with individualised in-depth feedback on individual PhD projects. Additionally, the summer school offers a series of lectures on communication theory and methodology as well workshops on communication research design, ICT tools, writing and presentation skills. Supplementary programme also includes visits to local NGO's, research institutions, and round table debates, such as that between Denis McQuail and Hanno Hardt on the future of communication studies.

The Summer School is supported by Erasmus Intensive Programme grant, consortium of 22 universities and two national doctoral schools, ECREA, Department of Media and Communication Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, and Slovene Communication Association.
